How SNS’s network and security service support for MVNOs works
While most customers successfully use our wide range of global connectivity solutions, not everyone knows how much work we do in the vital area of security.
That’s because even though any network you ask us to supply will always be secure by design, but we also always offer options to help you protect your data from external threats.
There, we can assist organisations on a variety of security issues. These range from helping you and your team exhaustively identify any and all potential threats to your network and traffic to drawing up the best-fit security policies and processes for any projected extension of your work with new (or existing) customers.
We don’t just stop there, though. SNS’s highly experienced network and cyber security team will also work with you all the way to go-live and full implementation of your new, secure and protected network.
This matters to all kinds of builders and operators of networks, e.g. enterprises and service providers. However, one of the most important communities Swiss Networking Solutions wants to help here is the MVNO. MVNOs wanting to build interconnections with other partners need to know these will be not just fully optimised but also completely bullet-proof.
A new strategic partner
The good news here is that if you are an MVNO that’s identified a great business case for building such a connection, not only can we help with all of the advice, guidance and recommendations you’ll need to cover off any potential problems, as a company we have a set of state-of-the-art market solutions on the deployment side, too.
One of the most significant of these—and which we will be sharing more details about next month—is a new partnership with one of the most significant players in the industry, Juniper Networks.
We partner with Juniper, which means we’re in an even stronger position now to provide the sort of managed security that you need in order to protect sensitive content, valuable interconnections with your IMSI sponsors, and all the other things for which you need optimised, secure connectivity.
Our expertise and best-practice knowledge are backed by our experience with Juniper’s solutions – so you don’t need to worry about the nitty gritty, but can depend on us to deliver, with SLAs to govern performance and ensure KPIs are delivered.
What is particularly significant about Juniper’s capability is that the firm informs its security posture with input from the whole gamut of network tech—from its work building routers, switches, network management software, software-defined networking technology as well as network security products.
On a commercial level, it’s a long-term partner option, as Juniper has been so successful since its 1996 founding and was recently acquired by HP. Importantly, the strength in depth of the Juniper security armoury was also identified as a big attractor for the purchase in the first place, with convergence between core networking and security becoming what analysts see as a major trend tying these two areas together.
It’s significant that at the time of the acquisition, HP’s CEO noted the security component is “a significant opportunity,” adding that the idea now is to deliver, “A secure unified network and experience with AI at the core of everything we do, and in that context, security is a core component.”
If that sounds good to you, why not start the conversation with us today to give your MVNO business idea the best data security at the network level you can get.
