Swiss Networking Solutions AG (SNS) & Sure partner to provide operators with enhanced global coverage
…SNS also provides MNOs/MVNOs with access to Sure’s global network across multiple countries …
5 November 2024 - Swiss Networking Solutions AG (SNS) and Sure today announced that they are now working together to improve the global connectivity of Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) of all sizes.
The partnership between SNS and Sure enables operators to benefit from the roaming agreements and preferential pricing already secured by Sure, via new Sponsored Roaming opportunities.
SNS creates the connectivity between Sure and an operator via its backbone network which links to Sure’s core network. As such, SNS will be enabling the operator to utilise the Sponsored Roaming services on offer from Sure.
Sure’s Sponsored Roaming solution gives operators access to Sure’s global footprint of 425 roaming agreements across 181 countries, by using Sure’s IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) technology. Sure’s flexible and innovative approach, bespoke pricing and access to the latest technologies, allows operators of all sizes to go to market quickly, scale and grow their business allowing them to deliver their solutions to their customers.
Sure is a supplier of telecommunication and IT services in Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man. It also provides services to the Falkland Islands, St. Helena, Ascension Island, and Diego Garcia. Sure is part of the Beyon group of companies which operate in other jurisdictions including Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, Yemen and Egypt.
Cyrille Joffre, Chief Technical Information Officer at Sure said “In increasingly competitive markets, operators across the world need to innovate to meet their customers’ needs and having cost-effective access to the global mobile footprint is a key step in achieving such innovation. At Sure we have a history of providing bespoke solutions for international operators and, by partnering with SNS, we can help operators to enjoy a quick and seamless deployment of these services.”
SNS provides a range of services specifically designed for MNOs, MVNOs and other CSPs that need to build out their network reach, forge new partnerships and rapidly enter new markets.
By reducing service activation costs and accelerating time to market, SNS helps operators of all sizes win new business, deliver new solutions and expand their markets, leveraging its proven partnerships and MNO connections.
Nicola Berardocco, CEO at SNS said “On the face of it, Sure is a niche provider of small island-based networks that can provide global connection coverage across the world at a cost-effective price with minimal commitments, but its networks reach places that other operators don't. SNS makes it very simple to connect to Sure’s networks across the world with high-quality, optimised backhaul interconnection, and provides a personalised and differentiated service”.
Telecom26, an independent operator headquartered in Switzerland, is the first company to take advantage of SNS and Sure’s partnership. Telecom26 offers a range of global connectivity services specifically developed for business travellers who now have access to Sure’s networks across the world through Telecom26’s multi-IMSI solutions.
