SNS sponsors SwiNOG #39; team will discuss resilience for enterprise connectivity for operators
The team at SNS will be out in force at SwiNOG discussing a range of issues that are important to operators of all sizes including secure enterprise connectivity solutions and interconnection.
The Swiss Networking Solutions AG (SNS) team will be out in force at the 39th meeting of The Swiss Network Operators Group (SwiNOG) which takes place in Berne on 25th September. SwiNOG is focused on enhancing the quality of Internet services available in Switzerland by fostering the free exchange of technical ideas and information between different companies and organisations.
We will be discussing how our networks have been improved following our recent partnership with Juniper Networks.
By deploying Juniper’s routers and switches in our existing and future networks, SNS has been able to simplify its POPs and has made it easier - and quicker - to bring new devices on-board our networks.
We are also using Juniper’s SRX firewalls to provide the managed security that MNOs need in order to protect sensitive content, and the valuable interconnections with their IMSI sponsors. We have learnt a lot from our deployment and will be sharing our experiences at SwiNOG in a presentation titled:
Overcoming the challenges with SRX Clusters: SNS’ path to multi-node high availability.
The presentation is aimed at operators and MVNOs who need to improve their network security and will explore how we’ve enhanced security and connectivity for our Juniper SRX Firewalls through the implementation of MNHA (Multi-Node High Availability).
You can read more about this in our earlier blog How SNS’s network and security service support for MVNOs works

The team at SNS will also discuss a range of issues at SwiNOG, including how they are helping operators of all sizes to:
- provide secure enterprise connectivity solutions that operators can offer to their business customers. You can read more about this in our previous blog Why Service Providers have to make security a priority
- improve their global connectivity by providing them with access to its global networks
- reduce the service activation costs for operators, accelerate their time to market in new territories market
- win new business, deliver new solutions and expand their markets, leveraging its proven partnerships and MNO connections

SNS offers a raft of services specifically designed for enterprises with high bandwidth connectivity requirements including secure enterprise connectivity solutions and mobile service providers (MNOs and MVNOs) who need to build out their network reach, forge new partnerships and rapidly enter new markets.
SNS also delivers a range of services specifically designed for MVNOs, MNOs and tier 1 and other CSPs that need to build out their network reach, forge new partnerships and rapidly enter new markets.
SNS has access to Global MPLS circuits, Internet exchanges, Tier 1 IP transit operators and long-haul international circuits which means that its customers can both leverage our existing infrastructure and preferential pricing – or work with us to build out entirely new connectivity.
